Peruser Response Essay - Joyce Carol Oates' Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been? As I started perusing ââ¬Å"Where are you going, where have you been?â⬠by Joyce Carol Oates I ended up relating the encounters of Connie, the young lady in the story, to my very own encounters. She discussed setting off to a friendââ¬â¢s house and having her friendââ¬â¢s father drive them to the shopping center with the goal that they could stroll around and mingle or go see a film. I found this related intimately with my own encounters of being fifteen years of age since it was consistently somebody elseââ¬â¢s guardians driving my companions and I to the films or to the shopping center.
